I applied the U.S. Navy Seals’ unofficial motto to my life (works like gangbusters).

The motto moved me to the next level

I was reading a book related to personal development (Everyday I read this genre to improve myself), and came across a beautiful story.

It’s so beautiful and inspirational that it would be a crime if I don’t share it.

Anyway, a guy approach a speaker after a seminar and told the speaker if he can tell him his story.

The speaker, though busy, said go ahead.

The seminar participant started, “you know five years ago, my life was average. In the industry I was in, I was just a mid-level manager trying to get by”.

He continued that he knew his wife was also tired of living paycheck to paycheck and not enough money for other things such as vacations. He knew she was worried if they can pay a good college for his kids.

“But today”, the guy continued, “we are going for a month long vacation in Europe, we have a cabin that we own for vacation.

“My wife”, he paused, “bless her heart, is not worried anymore when it comes to money.”

He can see it in her face and demeanor that it’s different.
