About 20 years ago, I picked up Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins at a book sale (one of the perks of living on a university campus — cheap, old books everywhere). Back then, I read it casually, but it wasn’t until years later, when I started listening to his YouTube channel, that one of his core teachings on success really stuck with me.
But don’t worry — you don’t have to spend hours digging through his videos on YouTube. I’m going to break it down for you right here.
Tony Robbins teaches the Success Cycle, which follows a simple pattern:
Belief → Action → Results → Potential.
At first, I didn’t fully grasp it. But then he said something that clicked: Everyone has potential. Your ability to grow, build a business, or lose weight — it’s always there.
