It’s an overused concept in psychology, I hate it, but I think we should learn from it.
Apply it to your goals and anything you want to achieve, especially weight loss and you will be the best version of yourself.
Several years ago, I was in the education business. In short, I was teaching kids. It was not just any other class but chemistry chemistry (yes, I was an adjunct Chemistry professor in a small community college).
I didn’t know it before, but while I was teaching chemistry, I was also teaching my students a concept in psychology.
Unbeknown to me, I was teaching my students this psychological hack to increase their likelihood of success in my chemistry class.
What’s the concept?
I’ll elaborate the principles later, but for the meantime, let me tell you a little background story.
Since most kids hate chemistry, I have to find a way to at least change kid’s mindsets towards the subject.
My approach was to at least teach them how to approach chemistry’s abstract concept with less resistance.
How did I do this?
I asked them, how many times have you heard this from kids complaining, “I hate math”…
