When my son’s coach asks him, do you believe in his self, there were tears already welling in Koji’s eyes.
He wiped his tears and sobbing in between and responded, “I don’t believe in myself”.
Shaking his head, he repeated the words, “I don’t believe in myself”.
As a parent, it was hard to watch the conversation. I looked away and just prayed and hope, as every parent feels, that the situation will get better. (It’s getting better, and I’ll share it later).
