WHICH WOLF DO YOU FEED?

You heard of the story already, and I know you’ve heard itso many times, too.

But in a span of a week, it struck me so much that I said to myself, I need to write my thoughts.

I’ll tell you my story in a bit so stick with me here, cause this is powerful, and it will shock you a bit.

For the past years, I searched the internet for other variations of the ‘two wolf story’. I even searched what it meant for others. But I just realized that this “wolf story” have deeper meaning in just to be positive and those things the media will tell you.

Of course being positive is one thing and a good thing, but I soon realized that it’s more than that.

It started when I was kidding to my friends at work, by being sarcastic. Every Monday, I would say, “Happy Monday”, and they would look at me like I do have 5 heads.

But think about it, I’m saying “Happy Monday”, cause it meant, I’m thankful I’m alive, I have a job and I can work. And I dwell on that thoughts. It make my Monday easier to swallow.

I Hate My Job

Then one time, a friend of mine called me to tell me that he hated his job so much. I mean, why would you dwell on that thoughts. If you really hate your job, quit, look for another one.

I know what you are saying, and you would be asking “what if I can’t find another one?”.

Hold on to that thought.

If you could listen to yourself and hear yourself, you will be saying, ‘Why am I dwelling to that thought of not getting a job?”. Don’t dwell on that thought, because I’m sure you can find good one in the end.

Watch Your Language

My kid plays basketball, he loves to take a shot from the three point line because he’s a little bit smaller. So in the end, he can score for his team and can bring the ball down as a point guard.

One time, a friend of his on the same team told him that as a player, he is a defensive player.

My kid asked, “why are you only a defensive player?”.

“Because that’s where I am only good at.” was the answer.

I told my kid, why would you limit yourself to be just a defensive player? You can also be an offensive threat, but the problem is that you only feed that ‘wolf’ that you are only good in defense.

Feed the other wolf.
